Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You are welcome to pay me in Euros in resort although I'm kinda hoping not everybody does as I'll have a lot of Euros to look after

If you want to pay before we go, click the "Convert this amount to Sterling" link on your snowAccount and pay by the normal methods.
Do you prefer us to do that for the EoSB as well (if you'll excuse me for asking when you've still got two ski trips to go before then rolling eyes)?

[Edited to make it clear what I was referring to.]

Hi Folks - I have now stopped dithering - I am coming (just got to sort out how to transfer money to admin!) Have to apologise cos I plan to board most of the time too (although I might ski a couple of days). Can't tell from names - how many females are going so far? Flying Easyjet Luton 0705 return Luton 1050. Is anyone else using the same flights? Perhaps we could wear some form of indentification and meet up at Luton?

Mudkicker, Am I right that you're leaving from Gatwick and returning to Luton? How are you managing that (if you don't mind me asking). So far I think I'm the only one that's going LGW-LGW, flight out's ok, but the flight back is late, so lots of loitering around at Grenoble. Confused

Im doing the Luton flight on the 27th ,EZY2423. Think the idea from Igtramp to find out who's on that flight and meet up, is a great suggestion. Who else is on it?
We could meet up at the Easyjet desk or elsewhere in the terminal, but im not wearing fancy dress, that's for the slopes!! Very Happy

Richie rich1, admin will let us know nearer the time. As the numbers grow for the bus, the price goes down so he won't be able to give us an exact figure until quite close to departure. At that point he will put up some buttons for us to press and pay.

According to the main details:

Quote:
The cost of the transfer will be at most £42 rtn but should get cheaper as our numbers grow. (hopefully to about £30-35 Wink)

I just seached EJ for London (All airports) to Grenoble and it offered me various Gatwick/Luton/Stanstead flights. Gatwick's a lot easier for me (I live in Clapham) but despite my world-class loitering skills, I thought the wait for the Gatwick flight was a little too long.

I've just registered a vague interest so that I could see everyone's travel details rolling eyes

I see several of you are planning to get the 10.50am Grenoble to Luton. Admin's opening post says the bus is scheduled to get to Grenoble '..about 10am' so isn't there a danger you'll all miss the flight? And there isn't another Luton flight that day. Is there a contingency plan (I haven't read the whole thread so I may have missed it)?

Mudkicker, I , with my OH, decided the Gatwick return allowed a little nap at the airport (No... we are not old, 31 nd 27). which would be better than being huried to get home, then crashing out and likely killing our monday too..
(though to admit, we also booked it before may others had started jumping on the early luton flight, thinking that for the bus to arive at 11 or so.. like originally planned, we woudl be able to vacate the hotel at like 8 am instead of now 6am...)

If you guys both have Avi kit, Brill. I will only have Salomon 3V LABs with me (Running a lot of drills by myself at some point...), snow conditions pending, i shoull be able to float them, otherwise,,,, Anyone know what sort of good off-piste skis might be available for hire on a per day basis????

Sideshow_Bob, I was thinking (if i brought a 2nd pair....) to pack te skis only in one bage and get the bindings in checked or carry-on... (likely cary on as they rarely check the weight.)

my stats as follows:

Skier or boarder: skier 31yr old (28 yrs on skis)
Ability level: ex racer, but recovering from blown quad and broken back)

quadwould, yeah, that's be the plan with the bindings on the 3Vs. Just bought an impact driver so I can get the damned things unscrewed Smile Thinking of getting quiver killers so I could use the same bindings on my Mantras and only need one pair. I'm sure you could get away with 3Vs all week too, after all the great under a new name swears on only skiing on slalom skis and he's a better skier than God Wink When/where did you race?
