@SaraJ, the new Mosl lift is shown on the piste map now. Two stage with a new piste down to the mid station.

@Bennyboy1, OK thanks. I've never been before so don't know the names of the lifts or webcams yet. And I will have the Salzburg super pass which only covers zell am ziller side not Mayerhofen side.

Yes I have 16 to 23 Dec in zell am ziller then Soll from 3 Feb to 3 March then Radstadt 3 to 10 March. This December week is just a bonus to get the good if my season pass

20cm fresh snow at Hintertux, and currently quite cold so the snow is very light. Will be a good day.

I'm checking out the skiing at Finkenberg today (which is nice if you stay higher above the clouds lower down in the valley). Travelling home tomorrow.

@Alastair Pink, hope you had a good day. It was awesome this morning at Tux, even if the visibility was occasionally challenging. But you can’t complain at knee deep snow in early December (although for a couple of my off-Piste virgins it was sometimes deeper than head-high  . Good work Team)

Many thanks! I occasionally have an "old school" ski day wearing my tweeds (Norfolk Jacket and Plus Fours) and using a single alpenstock rather than skipoles.

Wild at the top of Hintertux today. Very high wind meant it was very difficult to see the terrain in front of you because of so much snow being moved around. Some piste sections were being quickly wind-scoured down to the icy base, with drifting snow in other places. It was also cold, and with wind chill very cold. Wore a facemask for the first time in my life as that seemed to be the only way to manage the conditions. The wind picked up as the day went on, so lifts began to close around midday. Even at the mid-station the wind was blowing over ski racks half filled with skis.
A very enjoyable day's skiing.
