Frosty the Snowman, absolutely brilliant!
So glad you had a good time (and your family).
Inspiration for us all.
And you look so lithe and sexy . . .

Well done. I totally understand any apprehensions. Going in for my second THR in 4 weeks time. Was hoping to get away this year but it wasn't to be. Will have to make up for it next year.

Can only echo what everyone else has said. And like @pam w, says, it's really just about being out there in the mountains with like minded people, and having a blast!

Thanks all. I was dead chuffed on how I skied at the end. I like to ski well and would like to ski better as it is less tiring, safer, and one can tackle challenging conditions with ease.
You are all correct...its about the mountains and the friends. Looking at next year already.

@Frosty the Snowman, I would like to meet you one day Sir, I suspect we would get on extremely well, but I also suspect we would get ourselves into trouble

Great to read about your journey and rehab after the new hip. Somehow missed it before.
As you know (you gave me kind words of encouragement) I have recently had a new hip after a biking accident so reading your experiences and getting back to sking are a tonic.
Good to see you have made it back to the snow and skied well . v inspiring ! Ski pants look awesome btw

@Frosty the Snowman,
Inspirational. Saw this thread for the first time today and it made me smile. My wife had her hip op Nov 2016 so 2016/17 skiing was out but 2017/18 was a cracker with 10 days of Jap-powder, scaled a volcano and two French trips - all on the bionic hip - best thing she ever did.
Keep up the fitness campaign and you’ll be cranking right-handers too.
