Addendum .... as the crow flies that's less than 10kms from Germany seeing that the border with Germany is the far side of the stream at Warth.

I actually posted Pal, Andorra, first Thing this morning but it did come through for some reason. I'm stamped that I remember a small mountain that I skied on 29 years ago.
It was my very first ski trip, a school trip. A week of bluebird skies with a massivecovernight powder dump on the Tuesday night.
To this day, the most memorable ski holiday of my life. A beautiful resort, a beautiful ski unstructured (Nani). Wine a pound a bottle, beer even cheaper and Vanessa Paradis on e dry screen, stretching every schoolboys trouser by pouting away to Joe Le Taxi.
Happy days.....

I can see reasons for all of those, but not correct. Here's another shot from more or less the same spot. The sketchy tracks in the middle distance to the left of the sharp ridge are in another resort. The view in the first picture is looking to the right on the second.
