IncogSkiSno,
Post edited to improve spelling - I have spent a long windy exhausting day sailing and my fingers and killing from the rope, and I'm too tired to spell!

IncogSkiSno, I'm good at literacy, it's just I can't type when I'm tired! Shame, cos I type well fast. I'm too tired to notice if a multicoloured UFO landed in the field outside my garden!

crazy_skier_jules, Well I'm bad at literacy - mispeant youth, unlike yourself! I'm now at college 1 day a week trying to make up for it by learning some IT skills. Sometimes I have to cheat and write my posts on word and then paste them, but don't tell anyone though!

IncogSkiSno, that's fine. you'll find me writing stories on Word! I end up teaching the teachers at school (the non-IT ones obviously) about what to do!!

crazy_skier_jules, the last time I went dingy sailing it went from a nice force 3 to a force 7 gusting to 8, now that was bad, we got back completely soaked through despite the waterproofs, mind you mine was the only boat not to capsize, there are some advantages to being heavy

D G Orf,
I am not up to speed on this American idea but it sounds like a good offer and if there is a chance then I would give it a bash. If it doesn't work out then you will still have a good hol'. You can always go back to Wengen.
All tp play for....!!
P.S does she read Snowheads...??

D G Orf,
Why is it highly desirable? How tall are you?
I can see how tall women are good to look at - particularly if you like the Angelina Jolie look! But actually as a woman I prefer a man to be a good bit taller than me if possible.

beanie1, I'm about 6ft 1" tall
|
|
|

Well that gives you lots of options then. Most of the women I know would ideally go out with someone a bit taller than them, and there aren't many women of 6ft 1"!

D G Orf, A tall man who likes tall girls - you really should get out there, so many tall girls find it hard to find tall men that like tall girls. You could be in demand, and I bet your a gentleman and lets face there are not too many of them around these days!

D G Orf, To be fair though you want an attractive women - would you be attracted to an over weight lady? It's not all about looks it is the whole package men with body-builder type bodies are not attractive and neither are those who spend hours in front of the mirror preening themselves and wearing designer gear.

the sad thing is that so many women go for looks and physical hunkiness it leaves those of us that don't match up to the adonises out in the cold |
Now come on D G Orf, I think you'll find the majority of women aren't that shallow. Personality is much more important. Don't put yourself down by thinking you're not attractive and be persistent if you like someone, don't give up at the first attempt.

Hello Pot, meet kettle
I think you think with your balls too as otherwise why would you be requesting a "sensitive, romantic, inteligent lady blah blah blah " rather than
Tall, and looks like Angelina Jolie

I wish I could say that you were right, however in my experience you're not, just look at the dating web sites, roughly 70% of the women who advertise are looking for, slim, atheltic or muscular men, of the remaining 30% who are not almost all are single mums who frequently indicate that they are looking for men with a good income to support their one or more existing children, very few single women who are unencumbered by kids put down that they don't care what the man they are searching for looks like.
Nadenoodlee, well Chris asked about apperences and I said something like Angelina Jolie, If we're talking about the mind, then I'd say intelligent would be my highest priority followed in no particular order by, caring, romantic and fun loving.

D G Orf,
What women (and men!) say they are looking for and what they actually find themselves attracted to are often very different. Ask a selection of married people what their ideal partner (excluding other half) would be and I bet they come back with all the usual cliches. But then take a look at who they're actually with and I bet they don't meet many of the criteria.
|
|
|

D G Orf, beanie1, has a good point there. To be honest I don't think that most of us has a type, you just know when you are attracted to someone. You can be attracted to someone for some silly little things like say dimples or the way they laugh - it could be anything. Most women do say they prefer taller men, but I can remember having some very sexy short boyfriends(long time ago now)
