@BobinCH, not the new skis I hope!
Alas they are still in the wrapping. Not coming out until there’s another 50cm which looks like Feb at the moment

tbf, you have a point, i'll need about 3 ptex candles and serious work on my edges after a few foray's in zinal last weekend, sharky doesn't even begin to describe it. By the time you realize it, its tooooooooo lateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. CRUNCH.
Hopefully will all look a lot whiter by next weekend!
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@BobinCH, Damn I love that hill. Thanks for taking one for the team and making turns for the thousands of us who won’t be this season
You know it makes sense.

Yep other than AdM, Hellbronner and La Grave is there any other resort cable car above 3000m where you just have to pick your route and go? Hopefully it will get topped up with 1m of snow this week so they open the lift!
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

@BobinCH, Amazing pictures. Really like the one flying above Mont Gele. I guess you could also mention the Indren lift in Alagna together with those you mentioned where you access great terrain straight from the lift and no official slopes down from the lift.
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

You know that expression
"No friends on a powder day"?
It looks to be true today....I have just scrolled through all the webcams and there is hardly a soul out there.
On all the Savolyeres side cams there was not one single person.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks. Yes good call on Indren - one I would live to ride!

There was some viz so we stayed Attelas side but alas it was very wind blown which turned the drifts into quicksand. Another 50cm forecasted in the next 24 hours so hopefully better tomorrow am in Bruson. At least it’s building a nice base for your April visit?!?!
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@BobinCH, fingers are VERY crossed...but realistically...looks unlikely
It’s a Bruson route off the back of the Les Otanes itinerary that leads down to a village called Chamoille from where you follow the road back to Sembrancher and get the train back up. Needs snow down to 600m. The other superb pitch “Canadian trees” is steep so too sketchy yesterday given the avi activity and big group/kids.
