Cervinia is going to be busy with snowheads. Me and my missus are in the Hotel Mon Reve, but booked a few months ago, and luckily guessed correctly on predicted snow

My oldest daughter has been throwing up since 4 am!!! Plane leaves at 7 pm tonight. We're all packed up, so hopefully she recovers a bit today, and we can still fly... Now I wish I was driving grrrrrr

Take extra sick bags lol. Kids seem to recover quickly from stomach bugs, hopefully she'll be back to her old self by the time you fly.

Well finally made it to Cervinia at 12.30 today, basically yesterday's issues at Heathrow cost us 12 hrs
All seems a long time ago now with the first few runs behind us

yes we finally went and are here now. Piste conditions on the cervinia side are very good considiring, piste conditions on the Zermat side are not as good with hard packed pistes. Now back to skiing, fuller report later.

Just a quick post here from Cervinia. It is great here. Snow is soft and makes everyone look like a super hero.
But tell, me, where can I get a really good pizza here? Stone oven kind!

@HeidiAmsterdam, we enjoyed the pizza at Sotto Zero so much on Saturday night we retuned there on Sunday! the house red is also quite nice

Sotto zero is good, I also really like Lino's.
Piste conditions are still very good. We had a bit of rain on Thursday below 2500m so from plan maison down is a bit hard, but above that (where most of the skiing is) it's lovely grippy snow. There is plenty of base off piste, but the high(ish) winds have blown the powder away. Be perfect when the next dump comes.
