I was a little disappointed that I didn't receive an email (having been on 4 before) until 4 yesterday informing me that it had already opened.

I'd be interested in this again, but I guess the last week which we've done before has been booked up already.

Colin B, We sent the newsletter out yesterday, on the day it goes on sale, as we always do - we don't send it before because we were unable to take bookings before then and we know that as soon as the newsletter goes out the phone starts ringing and the emails start floodiing in before we're ready and able to deal with it.
Tarquin, Only people on our mailing list receive our newsletters; you can register to it on our website. If you think you are on it and do not receive our newsletters please let me know by email and I'll check that we have the correct address for you (if you've changed address since you registered, obviously you won't receive the mail out).
jonm, There are still spaces during the last week so if you're interested it is worth getting in touch.
When we send the mail out to our members it is the first anyone knows about it - we do not advertise it anywhere or offer it out to anyone else before our members. Whatever day we send it the December dates are in demand; we try to make it as fair as possible and I'm sorry if people have been disappointed.
In the past we have informed snowheads about the on sale date but we were told off a couple of years ago for that and certainly don't want to stand on anyone's toes or annoy anyone.
Hope some of you can make it; I'm sure the PSB will be brilliant too.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Joanne Mountainsun, I'd love to do another bootcamp, but I've since bought a flat in Flachau and can do our "usual" week at my own place

Hi Joanne Mountainsun, My friend and I went on this last November and whilst we enjoyed the trip we certainly were not skiing on "this years latest equipment", in fact it might to have new the previous ear. I know there were some issues with the supplier last year, ca you confirm that these have been sorted for the 2012?

reded78, Edge2Edge sponcored the ski and board camp last winter and sadly went under during the summer; we did the best we could last season - and there was actually a lot of next season skis and snowboards available for use so i'm sorry to hear you didn't get to use any. It was possible to pre book if there was something particular you wanted to try (details were on the website) and you should have had the opportunity to change your skis each day if you wanted to in order to make sure circulation of equipment was kept to a maximum.
A lot of the feedback we had from last year said it was improved so I'm not sure what happened and hope you're experience wasn't ruined because of it.
I don't know what equipment will be in the final stock this time round but links to the website of supplier on the website so you could contact them direct if you want to discuss. there will definately be 2013 equipment available for use (as well as 2012 equipment and earlier - our full rental stock will be at disposal as well as the new kit) but it's too early to say exactly what items will be there.
What I will say is that there are, without doubt, better and more extensive ski tests out there than our small ski and board camp so if you are going purely to ski on lots of new next season equipment the entire time it may not be for you : but if you want a bargain few days away with the chance to try out next season's kit (which you can pre book) for most of the time you're there (with quality equipment included the entire time - which may at times be older) with inclusive transfers, lift pass and catered accommodation you'll really enjoy it.

Joanne Mountainsun, one thing I noticed about this year is that the email said it included a "glacier" pass. Previously, it's always included a full area pass. Could this be upgraded and at what cost? (Oh, and my take on the skis is they're free! Saves a packet on ski carriage so don't moan if they're not the absolute dogs' whatsits. Mine were fine.)

maggi, The lift pass will cover you for everything that is open SO if you come in October that'll just be the glacier; if you come in November it'll cover you for glacier plus anything else they've managed to open. If you come from 30th Dec onwards it's a FULL area pass.
