Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Never bothered with this area before what with Verbier and Chamonix close by but in the right conditions they certainly have something to offer... Here's some pics from today http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=83608&highlight=

Garyscott20 look forward to some pics from Leysin wink

BobinCH, nice. Haven't been to Leysin for years. I remember a very cosy mountain hut. And a manic night in one of the clubs...

Arno, assume you're there for a few days? It will be epic when it opens.

BobinCH, Yup - doing an avalanche safety course so we spent most of today in the classroom anyway

I will try and update fairly regularly. Can't promise pictures and stories like BobinCH, but I will try to keep everyone updated.

Last nights snow has freshened things up in the lower resorts. Here's the little poma at Caux. Perfect for a Xmas morning ski. Vevey, Montreux and Lac Leman in the background

Have spent the last few days in glorious sunshine in Leysin, helping to get my nephews up and about on their ski's. Xmas morning was spent having a family ice hockey match, but other than that it has been ski, ski, ski. Conditions are perfect. Lots of snow around and not too many people. More to follow and hopefully some pics....

Spent another fantatstic weekend in Leysin. Lots of sunshine, but temps still staying low has meant that the piste conditions are perfect. Not too much off piste at the moment, but with snow expected towards the end of the week this should improve. The tobagganing park is also open and that is proving a big hit with kids.

Skiied yesterday in bitter cold which kep almost everyone off the pistes in Leysin - lucky us, because full sunshine and no wind meant that anyone dressed warmly enough was more than fine - great snow conditions, nearly 3 meter base and just BEAUTIFUL. Am going to try to include a photo here, but bear with me ...
