It just gets better and better I really don't need to argue my point all - the guy with the pink ear warmers is much more eloquent on this than I ever could be

kooky, Ok, you've redeemed yourself. Can't beat the Mooserwirt in full swing.

I feel that I need to defend the reputation of my adopted countrymen here in Austria. Most of these so called Austrianapres ski songs are actually created and sung by GERMANS!!!!
In amongst the bunch you have highlighted there is probably only one true Austrian song - Schifoan (dialect for Schi fahren)
Deffo Austrian - the late great Falco (him of Rock me Amadeus fame)
I gave those first few videos a go, with an open mind (honest). I didn't think there could be anything worse than French pop, but now I freely admit I was wrong (and I don't do that very often ).

I think it has to be not know what the words to the song mean... until someone explains it
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

pam w, oh there's worse. especially if you include not so apres ski tunes. schnappi das krokodil and die kuh aus timbuktu usually make good starting points for tunes to really annoy people. which I would then follow up with agadoo and every body walk the dinosaur (which are not completely austro-germanic or french pop either).
After watching half the above... i'm definitely in the mood for the birthday bash now
You know it makes sense.

pam w, yep well, you do need to have a good SOH to get it really so I can see why you are struggling
