Poster: A snowHead

Have any of you Morzineites (or others) visited this restaurant? Write-ups look good... we're looking for a slap-up Sunday evening meal when we go to Morzine in Jan. Any thoughts appreciated!

Best restaurant in Morzine IMO. Don't go there if you want, pizza, raclette, tartiflette etc.
It serves unpretentious, non savoyard, top quality food. The menu is small but interesting and rotated regularly.
Premises a little dark and pokey but the food makes up for it.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

mmm. just googled it - it looks a great place. Is it open Sundays though - French restaurants and hotels tend to be a bit closed.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Agree totally with zzz, at the moment it is open on Sundays and they also do an amazing curry night!

rainman, it's run by Phil Wallis, who's curry nights at the Sherpa, many years ago, attracted clients who'd drive up from Geneva and Annecy just for the food. Top bloke, top chef.

Yep that sound really nice, and none of the standard fare on the menu- wihs it was open when I did my season there.

That settles it - I definitely need to go back to Morzine.
