Hi Seaside
Welcome to snowheads.
Depends a little what you mean by local - a village pass e.g. Montalbert will cover the lifts around the local area, and some of the main hill - the limits are identified by dotted lines on the piste map but in this example I think it's up too Aime.
A La Plagne pass covers just that - any of the lifts in LP
Paradiski decouverte (discovery) = all of LP and 1x day in les arcs
Paradiski illimite (unlimited) = all of LP and LA
Hope this helps

Thanks, im understanding it a bit better now. (new to the sport)
Just one more question on the local pass does it include the Champagne side of the mountain?
the reason i ask is because the la plagne web site i just found allows you on a interactive map, and this comes up.
Thanks again

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The La Plagne pass will include Champagny, as will the Paradiski pass.
The Montalbert or Montchavin/Les Coches village passes will not include Champagny, or the rest of the La Plagne/Paradiski area for that matter.
