Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It is quite cheap to fly to Milan (the main airport and not Bergamo) at the moment from Dublin, does anyone know the easiest way to get to the snow (say Livigno or perhaps Monterosa) from there? Is it car hire or is there public transport?

, it's not far or difficult to drive, but there are
buses
from the bus station (just in front of the castle), to the Val d'Aosta (for Monterosa) and plenty of
buses
from Aosta. There are also
trains
to Aosta which may work out quicker. There are two "proper" Milan airports, Malpense & Linate. One is a train ride from town and the other is more central (can't remember which is which). I would guess that you're flying to the one out of town if it's cheaper but could easily be wrong. Bergamo is the third "Milan" airport in a similar way to Luton (without the trains) is a London airport - e.g. not really.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, Thanks, I was looking at Aer Lingus flights and I can currently fly for an amazing €50 return! to Linate
, with all does connections it might be easier to hire a car as there will probably be 4 of us.

, that might be best as it also gives you the opportunity to visit more than one resort in the area (there are quite a few).
