So after a delay caused by the shameful fact that I haven't logged into snowheads in a while I am definitely going to be doing some lessons & coaching at the EoSB.
Admin's crew have me down for a couple of days of lessons, but I'm also really keen to run some higher-end clinics if people are interested. A few ideas:
Riding MOT
Check over your fundamentals, get your posture and balance right, then learn to work the board harder in order to power-up your riding.
Yearning for Slicing & Dicing
Eurocarves, Cloudbursts, Tripods, flatland spins & hops. You know, fun stuff.
Park Intro or Intermediate
Start hitting kickers and boxes or start spinning and getting it sideways! You don't have to be some kind of super-extreme dude to start riding park, it adds a whole new dimension to anyone's riding and the skills you learn in the park also boost your riding elsewhere on the mountain.
Splitboard Intro / Touring
Happy to run some splitboard stuff - I have one set of kit to rent out and can arrange to pick up more.
Boardercross???
Crazy notion, but Val T has an epic race course (used for French Nationals, Europa Cups, etc.) which would be loads of fun to run a session on, assuming it's open and in "safe" configuration. Long term followers of my journey to getting qualified may rightly expect me to come down some kind of PTSD on this one....

@stevomcd, Thanks again for the lesson on the PSB. Great morning.
To anyone on the fence about it, just do it - you won't regret it. It was my first ever lesson after maybe 10 weeks on a board (classic self-taught "i dont neeeeeed no instructions to know how to rock" rider) and I wish I'd done it sooner.

Since the option for lessons first came up at The PSB, which I then couldn't make , I've been very much looking forward to finally getting some snowboard tuition on a bash. I've got multiple booked, I can't wait! 😀😀
Boardercross... now that sounds like a good opportunity for some hilarious calamities! 😀

Ok, I have been away for some years due to injury. Anyway, one of my old snow forums had an end of season trip to France, whereby they got great deals with usually great snow. Is this it? If so, where is the info?

Hi @stevomcd, , I’d be up for for park, split or boardercross clinic options! I guess I’d be more interested in a split tour day/half day rather than a tutorial session, but I suppose it depends if anyone else is up for it! Happy to bring my split and avi gear if there’s any likelyhood of getting some use out of them. Kwackers doesn’t have a split setup yet though if I’m dragging him along too

@wilko86, would definitely be a split tour rather than a tutorial! I’ve got one spare setup available to rent.

@stevomcd, I'm in for a serious tune up. I've some Kermit mechano in my right leg that's really screwed both my head and my stance so a bit of pre-slide bio-mechanics discussion will be fruitful. The only thing I can do in the 'park' is lay there and leak body fluids

@stevomcd , I could be interested in one of the open sessions or an MOT, been riding ages and I'm sure I have developed a wealth of bad habits ...

Hi all, looks like Admin / Ronald have me fully booked-up for the Sunday & Monday with some private lessons and 2 group sessions (one on each day). Those of you involved in those already know who you are I'm sure! I'm not busy that week, so I'm potentially do some specialist sessions late in the week. If you want to make something happen, post here and message either me or Ronald!

plus, I don't know what most of the words in your post mean

I'll help...
Eurocarves :- splitting the lunchtime bill up between an unequal number of people, one of whom claims only to have had a small soup and no beers.
Cloudbursts :- Overrunning the amount of space you have left online when uploading the shaky footage you took on your 3 GoPros.
Tripods :- The point of a fall where both hands make contact with the ground accompanied by a double snapping sound like an old Leica camera as your wrists break like dry kindling.
flatland spins :- A scenic tour of the windmills of Holland.
hops :- mix with barley, water and yeast.
fun stuff :- see 'Hops'

Thanks again for the lessons this week Steve, I feel like my boarding has come on massively this week thanks to having plenty to work on for the rest of the week! I even left the ground deliberately whilst bouncing my way down Gentiane yesterday afternoon so I reckon I’ll be on for the park session next year
