Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I rented from Le Vallon Blanc twice in a row. I was very happy with my Salomon XDR 80 Ti. Perfect edges and service. Still it was over €60 for 6 days, before insurance. That was after the 30% web order discount.
Other guys at our bash paid much less at Precision ski, as you know.

Hi @drporat, I think that's not bad at all €60 for 6 days ... the XDR is a very nice ski.
Can you remember what the insurance was? I think it was €2 per day over at Mountain Story.

@DrLawn, the insurance was smth like that at Le Vallon Blanc as well.
I always try to go with the small independent shop, which strives to give you a reason to return.It costs a bit more but you ususally get a better service and product.
This summer I bought my XDR 80, told the wife it's cheaper to buy than to rent each time Razz
So far so good. Now it's covered in Snowheads stickers
