Top jackets for male and female groms....

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Three really excellent jackets which have served the Valais-Groms very well indeed. All jackets in fine fettle; all Peak Performance gear ... hideously expensive when new; great in absolutely all conditions. All jackets waterproof and with quilted insulation. Snow skirts and poppers to connect to trousers if needed. Adjustable cuffs and bottom hems. Tough zips, ski pass pocket on sleeve.

1
Bright pink and therefore probably girls’ jacket - Gore Tex - helmet compatible hood, which when down seals back of neck and helmet. Size 150. Ie for height 150cm grommette.

2
Black and white big check unisex jacket - HIPE membrane - good as Gore Tex. Size 130. This was boy-groms favourite jacket.

3
Brown with white details - really great jacket, brown sounds awful but this is a very stylish jacket. Size 140.

Each jacket cost over 160gbp - asking 45gbp each plus postage to where you are. Text me on 0770 250 5256 if interested and I can send through a photo.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

What’s a maggot, other than a ‘soft-bodied legless larva’? (Am I living in a parallel universe?)

Grief...keep up.

A grommet (grom, or gremmie) is a young participant in extreme sports. Originally, a grommet was a surfer under the age of 16. In recent years, this has expanded to include other extreme sports, most notably skateboarding and snowboarding.

And yes...parts of skiing are indeed a parallel universe.

Eg ‘I miss JP, when he threw those corkscrews and helicopters on the urban grid in BC on the Sherpa’s Vid, the world moved...’

@valais2, Nobody calls 'Corkscrews' corkscrews anymore, just 'corks', prefixed by the number 'thrown'
e.g.
"I was totally going to throw my quad cork on that hit, but a grom snaked me so I came up short on the knuckle. Damn near broke my stinkbone..."

Oh, and any chance of some photos of the jackets... Might be good ma gromz, particularly 2 & 3, hot pink tough sell to the boys

And anyone who doesn't understand the lingo should ask on TGR - they'll explain it better than us.
