So I've been looking at trying to get away for Christmas. The snow conditions and how it falls this year means I'm desperate to go for a week or so. Most places charge a fortune for single supplement or just don't entertain it.
So where should I be looking, how should I do this to get away on Sat or Sun?! I'm off from Sat until the 2nd Jan.
Help me snowheads.... you're my only hope!

Hi fellow Yorkshire snowhead,
I'm presently in La Plagne (superb conditions) until this weekend and I'm hopefully staying out here a while, possibly the whole season, flitting around various resorts. I'm trying to source accommodation for Christmas week and have a few options available but with two could be cheaper, especially if you bring a turkey. If interested get back in touch and I'll send you my email address to develop further.

Hi mate. Not sure how it could work but there are good deals for 2 to La Plagne. I guess you don't need to be on the flights if it's a package deal.... drop me your email.

@blacksheep, ice & fire quite often don't charge single supplements at (some of) their chalets in la Plagne.
I stayed with them in les Coches & had a great time. They even arranged transfer for me from GVA despite me flying in under separate arrangements.
I suppose Christmas week might be different, but worth a shout...
Good luck!

What's the best way to sort a ski pass for Paradiski area? I'm arriving on Sat but it will be about 7:30pm. I'm flying into Grenoble and getting a transfer (bensbus) which takes me as far as Bourg st maurice. I'm hoping I can get the funicular up to the resort, I believe having a lift pass or voucher for one means this is free.
Thanks.

I had a voucher that I took to the ski pass sales place. Presume you'll have to do the same with yours but in Les Arcs. You best check what time the funicular finishes as it will be quite late when you get to Bourg St Maurice. Bensbus should know how long the transfer takes.
Good luck.
