The thread on DH in June included something about sport-specific terminology. DINs, forward pressure, CAT2 (lens), rocker, etc.
I included in that thread the following:
'As in 'Jeesh...I saw in the gondola that the canister on my ABS expired and I had to schlep to the dealer to a re-charge. I discussed my DINs for deep and steep and he said that my forward pressure was badly set, and sorted that. I wanted to reset my edges but I decided to wait until the next stone-grind and reckoned I could miss a hot wax and just stick some Zardoz on...'.
It IS meaningfu, of course, although jargon-ridden.
I am sure the park-monkeys can come up with sentences that also are entirely meaningful, oft-used and entirely unintelligible....off we go....
