Skiing over Christmas in Les Arcs and wondering whether need to bring supplies with us, or whether Christmas is pretty much a normal day?
Thanks in advance

Boris, Most shops will be open for some part of the day - especially food but the hours will be limited

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Mouth, Thanks, thought that would most likely be the case.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I think you'll find shops will be open any time they can make some money - in Les Saisies, at any rate, the supermarket will be open 7/7 over both Christmas and New Year.

Boris, I'll be in La Plagne over Christmas, if you plan to head there for a day let me know and perhaps we can manage to ski a couple of runs together.

Shops open, Lifts open, apart from "Pere Noel", fireworks etc. on xmas eve, It is the same. Rather surreal experience having xmas day lunch of croc monsoir and crepes on the mountain naturally with a glass of wine (some traditions should not be forgotton).
Enjoy Christmas everybody. I will be in Norway with the "outlaws", but will hopefully take the niece and nephew on the local hill.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, everyone.
