You're thinking too technically. When we adopt the tuck in the "brit" position, it's usually to have a "rest". So adopt a tuck position but relax with hands on thighs or anywhere excet out front, relax, take in the air/scenery and think about what's for lunch/tea.

For the best in Radio Luxembourg antennae have a look at the Nordic skiers; straight legs, hands on their knees, poles in the air to stop them dragging on the ground.
Oh and breathing so hard, trees are being sucked in from Norway.
Try carving hard from the tuck position for learning about correct body position; your hands/hips/shoulders relationship changes a bit...
