Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just booking same dates myself and gf, took the plunge today. I know a few other snowHeads are going out 30th November so think we will just miss them. Look forward to meeting you there Cool

Hmm, nearly 2 months earlier than I'll get my first ski. Don't know how much snow there will be so early. Very chancy except the glacier.

snowball, agreed, but I went on this outing last year in the last week of November and we were skiing Double M back down to Val Claret. Worth the risk though, a very cheap trip and the chalet hotel (and staff) are top notch.

snowball, Yeah I Know its a bit of a risk, but as you say there is the grande motte for backup. I agree with snowshine Le Melezes is great (went in april) and for about £200.00 inc catered chalet, ski pass, flights and transfers. I dont think you can go wrong.

I'm out there with 2 workmates (they've never skied before-so it should be interesting) from the 7th to the 10th of Dec so will be just missing you and leaving just as the main bulk of the snowHead will be arriving though that may mean i got a better chance of getting in the hot tub NehNeh
