Poster: A snowHead

I will visit Mayrhofen at the end of this month and looking for some restaurants that serve a decent meal in the evening. Our group will self-cater most of the nights, but would like to have two or three meal options.
Last year I also visited Mayrhofen and allthough I know were to buy great sausage sandwiches (that's easy: across the street at the Penkenbahn) and where to have a nice lunch on the mountain (Schneekarhütte is great!), we struggled to find a decent resort restaurant. Any type of restaurant in Mayrhofen (we do not want/cannot to drive after apres ski) recommendation is fine: from simple but nice pizza to more upmarket restaurants. We will decide what we fancy during the week.

Eyeopener, Mo's Bar in the middle of town was quite enjoyable when I was there last Jan. Nice for an apres beer and fairly lively without being manic in the evenings. They have live entertainment sometimes and it generally seemed to be advisable to book a table as quite popular. The food was generally pretty good - probably not at the cheap end of the scale, but also not the most expensive.
Overall, good atmosphere, friendly bar/restaurant.
Incidentally, just up from the sandwich place, there's another takeaway/sit down place that does fab kebabs + chips for not very much (€4-5 IIRC).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Other than Mo's (who's food i didn't rate greatly) there's a little place serving pizza and other things not far from the Penkenbahn. Head straight up the road opposite the Penkenbahn and head to the right, I'm not sure what it's called but it'll be on your left with a load of old school bowling alleys in. Great fun! The staff have always been welcoming.

I posted some information about restaurants in Mayrhofen a few years ago in this thread.
Note however that since then I believe the Kaiserbrundl has closed.

The Pizza place is called Mama Mias and is just a short walk off the main street. There is also the Grillküchl, which is a quaint restaurant again on the main street to the right as you go up towards the Penkenbahn. Very traditional and worth trying if you want a really Austrian meal, without breaking the bank.
Scotland Yard probaby still do Pizzas and also as others have said Mo's on the corner of the main street (Scotland Yard is just a little further along this street).
All the hotels do meals, try the Neuhaus for something posher, or the Neaupost, next door to the Neuhaus at the bottom of the main street. Hotel Rose used to do a three courser that was reasonable, this is just over from the Church, on a road that runs adjacent to the main street.
There is also a good Chinese, not sure what street, but if you come up from Mos, take a left off the main street and then go right, you should find it. Funny I could walk you there in an instant!.
We are there again in April, but now we have grown up, we stay in a hotel with half board - miss the 'workers meal deals' though!!!

Thank you for the suggestions. It seems that there are not too many options, but we will try some!
