Favourite Run/Moment : After being jostled in the queue for an hour for the Flegere bin, 15 mins for the Index lift, then an hour's hike to the top: Once we dropped over the back we didn't see anyone for 5 hours except for each other. And we even found some deep, fluffy stuff after 2 1/2 weeks of sunshine.
This season : Chamonix in March, La Grave in April
Goals: become more competent and knowledgeable in the backcountry, work through a list of peaks to climb and ride in Chamonix, sub 15 mins in the Derby de la Meije, get better at tricks. Actually, just learn some tricks. Any tricks! Maybe the Marinelli couloir one day. And spend a winter traveling north through the Rockies, April heli-ing in Alaska, take the summer surfing down the west coast of N and S America. double summer! then ride Chile and Argentina, be rude not to while I'm down there. That's after the lottery win, obviously! |
