Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon STH 12 anti friction plate

I've just noticed that the white plastic insert is missing from the anti friction plate of one of my front bindings.

a) Is this a significant issue?

b) Can I get a replacement - looking at the shop practices & spare parts manual you can get a new anti-friction plate, but where would I go about sourcing one?

Not sure how significant the issue is but i have recently had to deal with salomon to get a spare part for my binding. Salomon only supply spares through approved retailers, I used the shop practices manual to find the part number and ordered via the shop that I bought the bindings from.
