Poster: A snowHead
|
I've narrowed my choice down to Marker squire 11 or Salomon STH12 bindings, I've done internet searches on both and can't come up with any problems. Does anyone know of any issues with either, or have any opinions on either?
I'm 182lbs, 12 weeks on snow advancing intermediate - just getting into off-piste.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Squires not that highly rated I believe - cheap cash in of the range. Get the one with most metal in it.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

gixxerniknik, Sth 12 has a 3 screw z toe piece, with the sth heel, If you do a search on z toe piece problems, then a few will appear!! if its the sth 12 driver then it is the better driver toe.
Snow and rock have pivot 14 for 175 at the moment, miles better than either, and easy to get back on in powder when you have fallen over!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks guys, I can get either for about £90 which seems like a bargain and I know the STH has a better heel with more metal than the standard Z series. I hadn't found anything about a Z series toe problem so I'll look into that. Thanks once again.
