Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

St Anton Help

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, We are very much considering staying at the Chalet Antoinette (Nasserien area) in Feb 2014, however my nephew is handicaped and unable to walk. He has just returned from his first skiing trip and all went well. What I need to know is - is it convenient / simple to ski out and ski back into the Chalet Antoinette?. This could make a big difference to our holiday. Many thanks.

Relatively straightforward but depends on your nephew's handicap. It is on the edge of the piste, but on the side a fairly flat field.

It requires skating or poling to get to the closest lift, Nassereinbahn. On the way in, a good skier will be able to get to the door, but that does involve a little side-piste skiing.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

red80, can't comment on the chalet but if your nephew is looking for ski instruction, we used a chap called Dom Jonas a few years ago for lessons. Whilst we are all able bodied, he specialised in teaching adapative skiing etc. http://activetherapy.eu/en/winter-activities.html for more info

Thanks Ulmerhutte. The chalet is booked and we have a good idea what to expect. Thanks again.

Boabski, thanks for the recommendation. I think Dom has recently been helping my nephew - small world eh!
