Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey

would really appreciate help with resort suggestions. we're intermediate skiers/boarders, looking for 3-4 days on the mountain. somewhere with a party vibe, nice mix of blue and reds. fairly cheap,

any tour operator recommendations would be great seen a few offering 1 in 5 places free, which would be good.

thanks!

St Manton. Full of blokes and you'll all need inflatable rings to sit on when coming home wink

You could try Galtuer which would give you access to the Ischgl party scene. Galtuer itself is quiet but has some nice easy skiing and is inexpensive.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I went to St Anton for Hen do 1 of 3 - Supertravel for 4 days in Chalet Seeberger - had a great time. Not cheap though.

Morzine is quite good fun and you can do it on the cheaper end of the scale (more small operators offering better deals for short breaks) although unlikely to get such good deals (the 1 in 5) on short breaks.

Intermediate skiers/boarders - what about Sallbach or Mayrhofen?

Saalbach - DIY by contacting hotels directly and organising flights yourselves (Easyjet. Ryanair. Jet2, BA). Start by looking at the Saalbach.com website; there's a link for 'Accommodation' where you can enquire about availability. Many of the hotels have Spas, so you could indulge in pampering as well as partying. Out of high season, the hotels are also often open to doing deals. Transfer from Salzburg Airport using the Holiday Shuttle (get a private transfer from them if more than 4 of you, which I assume there will be).

I'd go for Innsbruck, Kath Ad. Very atmospherics city, great bars at local prices (2.50 for a pint), some lovely little ski resorts within 30 mins (trams and free coaches), 12 minute transfer to the airport, proper city entertainment, and cheap hotels (40 Euros B&B single room) and restaurants. Sorted!

Yes Innsbruck is a very good call for a hen Party with a bit of skiing.

Mind you, with just 3-4 days on the mountain, I'd certainly consider being in a resort, as opposed to a city - another vote for Saalbach and Mayrhofen. I guess it depends on the priorities, though Saalbach would probably provide the best balance IMV.

Sauze d'Oulx is easy to do & cheap when you get there.

Just done a boys weekend where we booked everything independently and it worked perfectly.

PM me if you want specifics.

I'd recommend Courmayeur if you are thinking of next season.

Chamonix and Meribel are both good for short breaks if you want a bit of a party town although neither are exactly cheap but you can go out and not spend a fortune! Cham has a shorter transfer to

Nowhere's cheap! 3VVs, agree Cham great for a quick break. Meribel a pain to get to, I'd not be going there for a short break unless I had the cash to fly into Altiport in my big daft helicopter.
