Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Arc 1950 - 2 day lift tickets, rentals, on-mountain restaurants questions

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We will be in Les Arcs 1950 from March 26 to 29th. We have lodging through PV already. Questions: 1 - Should we select the breakfast option for E16/adult and E8/child? How much is the "American style buffet breakfast" if we pay cash on site? What restaurant is the breakfast dining option offered at? Question 2 - Should we book lift tickets for our 2 day on the slopes, in advance, or just get them on-site or through the hotel? Question 3 - All of the rental shops at 1950 have the same price, appears that they are owned by the same entity. PV says we get a 25% discount if we book through them, I am assuming there is no better deal than through PV. Thoughts? Question 4 - Any recommended on-mountain restaurants? Last year we skied at Zermatt, and loved Restaurant Schwarzsee. Any similar types of restaurants, on-mountain, outdoors, with good food and wine? Many thanks in advance.

For ski rental try the Precision ski website (http://www.precisionski.fr). They claim their online prices are 45-60% lower than renting direct from their shops in Arc 1950.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You could take the pedestrian Cabriolet lift up to 2000. There is the normal choice of all the well known places there.

Skimium have a place Front de Niege and they are as good as any. You will have to weigh up convenience vs price yourself.
