Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chambery - Val Thorens Altibus

Please forgive me if a similar post has been posted before!

5 of us are requiring a bus transfer from Chambery - Val Thorens in a few weeks time.

Is it safer to pre-book the ticket with altibus online or do you reckon we could just book at the airport the day we arrive in Chambery?

What worries me about pre-booking online, is when you go through the options, you can either have the tickets delivered to your home address or print them out yourself (but the disclaimer states if you do this you cannot change your ticket - therefore if the flight is late in I would worry in case they wouldn't let us swap our tickets from one bus to a later bus.

Any advice SnowHeads?

Thanks

what week are you going ie is it before easter if so I would just pay on the day as there should be plenty of space.

5 of you? Hire a car. It's an easy drive and damn sight cheaper.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The bus transfers from Chambery - Val Thorens return is around £40.50 per person so I'm not sure hiring a car would be cheaper - usual car hire is £250 for a fairly compact car + petrol + parking at Val Thorens

But thank for your suggestions - if there are any cheaper car hire places PLEASE let me know!!!

Thanks
