Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mobile Phone Shop in St Anton

Random question... is there shop in St Anton (or nearby) where I could get a cheap pay-as-you-go phone? I want to get an Austrian sim for use out there, and since I also want to get a cheap phone for skiing/hiking etc so I may as well get the phone out there too. No real preference for network, unless there is one to be particularly recommended for good coverage in the Arlberg?

my son took an old phone with him from the uk and went into the post office where there was an A1 shop. SIm only contract 15 euros a time internet texts and calls. No actual length of contract just top it up every time you need more.

This was a counter in the Kirchberg PO, Im sure theyd all be the same. Two minutes and done, the guy even set it up for him inputing the codes etc into the phone. Just make sure that the phone you are puting the new Sim card into isnt locked to a Uk network. If it is (before you go) ask them to unlock it, tell them why, no problem and they will do it for you FOC, no need to pay £50 to some dodgy phone shop who say they will charge you to do it. The networks will do it all for you.

I havent heard him complain there was an issue on the above and hes been out there now using it since the middle of December. The only caveat for the 15 Euro one was only Austria numbers. Thats not an issue as hes got whats app and Viber for calling home to the UK. And Skype on his laptop.

sah, you can get sim cards in the post office, can't remember if you can get handsets though. If not, there is an electrical appliance shop near Surfer's Paradise (to the left as you look at their entrance), might be worth a try.
