Top station of main town to slope cable on fire as we speak/type.
Lots of helicopters are whizzing around (can’t really see why), fire brigade from all over poured in and are now.... well just sort of standing around and chatting and doing a lot of pointing at things.
No one in cable cars as plan to stop people getting worked and speed up cable and drag people out at the bottom worked also.
Another 2 helicopters just turned up and are sort of hovering around – making a dam racket.

Lots of blokes from fire brigade jumped on em and went whizzing off up the hill

Live update - it's not the top of the cable car (even tghough the signs said it was).
It chalet Albsi (the party place next to the Bambi lift) - and it gone ------- I Mean REALLY gone.
No one hurt other than owners income.

There are photos all over Facebook - but as most of em were taken by my mate Steve and are his copyright I don't want to post em here.
If you go on to FB and Search on Steve Gatto you will be able to see em.
Main thing is that no one was hurt AND all the practice the fire brigade keep on doing proved that they can cope with something like this even high up in the mountains.
Oh all the helecopters that turned up were also part of the plan (I didn't know that). Basically all helecopters in the area will swoop on down when this sort of stuff happens and uplift the brigade to the location up the mountain.
