Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski schools in Saalbach

Poster: A snowHead
Found this site whilst doing usual Pre-holiday Internet trawl for info. Some really interesting info - so registered. In Saalbach for week of 9 March with couple of mates. Confident on reds - on good days blacks too but not in icy conditions and at that stage where brain often thinks too much! Skiing for 10 years (started at 40 - big mistake - huge!) and for 9 years skied Austria and always booked ski lessons - have improved but at end of week always wish had just gone off and learned by getting some miles in and skied a favourite/challenging run several times to improve (and just enjoy). Last year went Meribel with Mark Warner and found the ski hosting very good (social benefits of being in a group coupled with lots of skiing). So......wondering is there anything similar available in Saalbach and (as other option) can anyone recommend a particularly good ski school (English speaking) where can book 3 days or just mornings (so free to ski independently in afternoons). Thanks.

All of the ski schools in Saalbach have English / English-speaking instructors. For group lessons, go to Snowacademy. For private lessons, try Zink or Fürstauer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ask for Fraser, Andrew or Nick at Fuerstauer, all British. They have many other great instructors who speak perfect English too though. You can book lessons on your terms.

Had meet. Going for group rather than private lessons. Definitely contact SnowAcademy - looked back at photos from our last visit in 2005 and used them then. One of mates found a Co called easySki who advise they have max group size of 8. Any thoughts re this Co? Do they stick to max 8? Thinking 3 days lessons to improve technique and learn runs then 3 days exploring independently.
