Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi jubnut, you can try to put a request through www.findtransfers.com and see what price other local companies can offer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

jubnut, I don't think you'll get much cheaper than that for 2 people - your best bet is to try and find someone to share the transfer with you as a transfer for 1-2 people is, as you would expect, about twice the price per person of a transfer for 3-4 people... When we have two guests coming here (next village along from La Clusaz) who don't want to pay the full price, we suggest the Borini bus or similar to Megeve (€35 each way) and then pick them up from there for free... perhaps try your accommodation provider and see if they have something similar they can do for you?

jubnut, I used aravis transfers a few weeks ago. They were good but a work of warning. In the small print it says that if you ask for a shared transfer, and they can't get anyone else to share it with you, then you will pay the private transfer cost. Apart from that they were good. Drivers and vehicles were good as well.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks guys, looks like aravis and hope to get a shared transfer.

I need the same transfer for 2 of us in March for a long weekend ski trip. I thought the transfers looked quite expensive so am considering hiring a car instead as I think that may work out cheaper.

I can't find any reference so far and rather than start a new thread has anyone used Green valley transfers from Geneva Airport?

I used the www.findtransfers.com service and they have quoted €290 return for 5 of us - I would have been happy at somewhere between €340 to €380, so this is a bargain. I'd feel better knowing that people had used them before and their experiences were positive - otherwise I am relying on the feedback on the find transfers website.

We took a bus from Geneva airport in to Geneva and changed and took a direct bus to La Clusaz which was pretty cheap, 60 euro return if I remember rightly. It took a bit longer but it wasn't too bad. They don't run that often, every couple of hours, but if you can time it right it's not a bad option.

Same company as Airport Easy Transfer, seen their vehicles around this year but not much before that. Plenty of reviews on findtransfer website.
