Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ischgl - Fine Dining?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,
I've been to Ischgl a few times before, so know the general lay of the land when it comes to usual eating fair. This year I'll be marking my 40th while I'm there and looking to book somewhere a bit more refined. There seems to be a Michelin 2-star restaurant in Samnaun and while ski across for dinner at the end of the day would be fine, I can see the 50 mile taxi back being a little expensive!

So does anyone have any experience/recommendations for fine dining in/around Ischgl?

Thanks,

Mjit

Not been but I'd say the Trofana is probably the best you can get, certainly the plushest hotel in Ischgl.

Yep, the Trofana bar is one of our regular stops but never eaten there (just watched the same woman come go in to tghe lift with a man, come out of it with them 30 minutes later...and repeat every 15 to 20 minutes with different men... Wink)

Mjit, Not quite the same place. The lap dancing club is in the adjacent complex, the Trofana Arena not the main hotel where the restaurant is.

Mjit, I've never found anything I'd describe as 'fine dining' but all the hotels I've eaten are 'fine' - if you know what I mean

They may have been coming from the Arena - we were in the hotel bar and could just see people walking to and from the lift.
