Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Scott Venture or Atomic Alibi?

Just wondering if anyone has got an opinion on these skis? I'm 6'3" 95kg intermediate/advanced looking for an all mountain ski 70% off-piste. Got on well with Scott Missions and Movement Jams, and looking for a ski to cover most bases - stable enough on piste plus okay on steeper stuff!

Sorry cant help with the alibi, but I have got a couple of sets of missions (done about 20 weeks on these) and some ventures (7 weeks) even though the ventures are slightly wider turn initiation is better (probley the rocker),they carve better than the mission, and most importantly they hold an edge on ice slightly better (they are more torsionally stiff) The edge hold even though its better is still the same as all the other semi big, semi flappy skis out there,ie rubbish compared to a piste biased ski!!!!!!!!! Both are a decent ski,if the price is close I would take the venture every time, more than £100 take the mission if you like it,enjoy.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, that's useful info. I'm a big fan of the missions so good to hear how they compare.
