Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does SAS exist in your world?

I'm a complete ski newb, only spent 6 days "on the slopes", but love it big time, even tho at 48, I'd hate it, and was just going for the kids.

My main love in life is electric guitars.

I used to play bass in a band in the early 80s, but wqas too undriven to take it anywhere.

Now I build, repair, upgrade modern and vintage electric guitars, acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments.

In this world we have what's called GAS.....Guitar Acquisition Syndrome, which is where despite the fact you vae anywhere from 3 to 70 guitars you can always find a reason, a situation, a tone that requires another one.

Do you skier/boarders suffer the same addiction?

Jacket Acquisition Syndrome?
Boot Acquisition Syndrome?
Ski Acquisition Syndrome?
Board Acquisition Syndrome?
Goggle Acquisition Syndrome?
Binding Acquisition Syndrome?

I like to think of it this way;

N = n + 1

where N = the number of bikes, skis or whatever you are into need

an n = the number you have now wink

Fender American Standrard Strat (my fave)

Aaaaah a fellow GASser:)
Out of all those the Yamaha 812V excites me, and I've never been a PRS lover but those Narrowfield pickups make the baby Jesus cry:)

Yammy was a bargain £200 brand new (even though it is 10 years old)...bought at closing down sale of local music shop in Bath. They had so much unsold stock, it was ridiculous.

My PRS has 59/09 pickups. It sustains for weeks. Only downside is that it is almost too pretty to play.
