Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Im looking for a good all mountain ski that can do it all. I split my time between the west and the east coast so Im looking for a ski that is good in powder as well the bumps. Im 5'10" 150 lb. Im looking to find a good deal so Ive been looking at some skis from past years. Can anybody tell me about the 04 dynastar 74s or 04 volkl v pros? Ive also been looking at this years rossi b2s and legend 8000s although theyre a bit more pricey. Can anyone give me any info or any other suggestions? Thanks a lot.

ajp13, welcome to snowheads, I've used Dynastar 74s fro the past 2 years and I rate them as a good all mountain ski, very responsive on piste but with enough volume to handle off-piste well.

ajp13, welcome to snowHeads.

Some people rave about the Metron B5s, and some good things have been said about the K2 apache recon. I've no direct experience of these myself, but they maybe worth adding to your shortlist.

ajp13, last season everyone swore by the Salomon Scream Extra Hots - they carved well and were fat enough not to sink off-piste. I don't know what this season's Salomon equivalent ski is though.

Does anyone else know?
