spud, Dave is starting with low bib numbers in EC races. Only WC does he get a high bib number as he is ranked 68 in world. He is still banging out great results and having a teriffic season. Going to World champs & olympics, already qualified.

It looks to me as if Dave has won the European Cup Slalom title.
I wonder if this gets him a personal WC start slot and/or a start in the WC finals.

rjs, Dave has won the Europa Cup Slalom title - first ever Brit to do so. It is a massaive achievement! Well done Dave 'Rocket' Ryding!
It doesn't get him a start at the World Cup finals, just top 25 in WC standing plus anyone who scored over 400 overall points in WC plus World Junior champ.
Don't think it gives him his own WC start slot. GB already has 2 anyway. 1 for being in the FIS & the 2nd because Dave is ranked in the top 100 in the World.
It does give him a top 15 bib number in any Europa Cup event though.
