Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Open or closed, or does it matter

Just a quick question.

When i leave my skis and bindings after a skiing trip and am not going again for 5 weeks, does it matter if i leave my bindings open, ( as in boot out) or closed ( as in boot in )
Same goes for when i finish skiing until the next season.

Thanks

Tim B

I always leave mine open, should be less compression on the springs inside but have no idea what theactuall arangement is internally so it could be that it makes no difference or that I am wrong

It doesn't matter. As well it doesn't matter if you leave them on your chosen DIN settings, or set them to smallest possible DIN setting. Wink

Shouldn't matter in the slightest. If these things were genuinely a problem, it'd be in the manual, right? wink

Remember that pretty much all ski bindings are also sold in the Most Litigious Nation On Earth, and I have every faith in their ability to sue folk on pretty much any pretext. If there was a problem, there'd be a disclaimer by now Little Angel

If you're unwilling to do it yourself, I believe it is possible to find a range of professional women capable of providing you with manual services in exchange for a sum of money.
