Hey heads of snow,
Hope all is well. Been a while since I have cruised this forum... after some advice... yes, I know, I only want you for one thing!?
Anyone got any recommendations for hotels in Chamonix for a weekend. Sort of in the budget -> mid-range price bracket.
Any ideas/options welcome. Cheers.

Hotel Faucigny in Cham town (sort of behind that open deck where you can sip vin chaud in the evenings). I've stayed there a few times for long weekends. Really good value for money but they get booked up during the French school holidays.

Hotel Chamonix is good in town and pretty cheap. Vert Hotel is also good but 10 mins walk into town.

Argentiere- in the car park of the lift- great value (not cheap, not expensive), great service, / decor, friendly staff- next door to the best skiing- book now!

Best two mid-range/budget places that are also good for weekend bookings are Hotel Richemond and the Pointe Isabelle.

Never stayed there but almost did (decided on St Gervais instead that yr) but have been in to drink once... Looks lovely, and the owners seemed really nice and friendly...
