Hi peeps! Looking to go have a wander up to Brecon on saturday to see what this coming Fridays snow brings us. Has anyone here skied there and know of a good place to park and access some skiable slopes?

A few years back (well before I started skiing - this was at University) some friends of mine drove to the Brecon Beacons in a Landrover Discovery with a large electric winch attached to the front. They drove the car up as far as they could get it, then took turns skiing down and using the winch to pull themselves back up. Sounds like lots of fun!

I'd be interested in this too.... i'm reasonably local to brecon and often walk there. I suppose access would depend on you mode of transport. There is a good access car park near libanus which i often use, map coordinates (51.913627,-3.419302).
I imagine you'd need a touring set-up to tackle this, which i don't have unfortunately...
