Oh and I meant to add, for those who nabbed an iON Pro Plus vis sportpursuit that this footage was taken with that camera. Gift from Mrs Z which I thought I wouldn't really use but it's actually quite good (if you set up the shooting angle better than I did on this attempt

Nice vid (and skis). It looks like you mate is on slalom/piste skis?? About ten years ago or so i used to ski around the tarentaise valley a lot. Brings back some good memories.

thanks for uploading the video, we are off to Tignes on 17th & I have a new toy to pl;ay with Contour roam 2, first impressions are very good, will try out again before we go

michaelbury17, the whole camera thing is a bit of a mystery to me. With a point and click I normally end up with all sky, with a bit of my thumb, or just a random set of white splodges. What I have appears reasonably idiot-proof but there's no way I'll ever get the sort of footage you might with your Contour if you have even half a creative eye! Enjoy your trip, btw!
