Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ski trip from Scotland

Looking to put together a group or join one, leaving from a Scottish airport late Jan/early Feb. Not fussy where to as long as there is good snow for a good price. Best offers seem to be for a group of 4. I'm an experienced skier,M in mid 40's. If anyone interested please get the replies in.

Just a suggestion, but you probably don't need your whole group to travel from Scotland. I do fly from Glasgow every year but a few years ago put together a group of solo skiers via a solo skier forum. We still ski together every year and between us fly from 5 regional airports and either meet up at the arrival airport or at the chalet. Most of the big tour operators will put this sort if mixed package together for you if you ask.
Incidentally I will be looking for a group to join but not till end Feb, but I'll keep an eye on your post in case your timescale changes

Hi Coulfeet. I've been trying to get a group together also, am keen to ski in Austria for the first time, and have been looking at catered chalet options or renting an apartment around the 19th Jan - that too early for you? Will keep you posted if I find anything interesting.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Have a look at the birthday bash 2 to 9 Feb some places have opened up due to cancelation, I am flying from Aberdeen on 1st and staying over in Venice and getting transfer on 2nd, the bashes work well eberyone gets there own way to Venice (I'm going with Lufthansa via Frankfurt, free ski carriage) and meet up with transfer at either 12 or 6ish on 2nd Feb. I think there over 100 folk going and is always gret fun, loads of folk to ski with and party with. Laughing
