Poster: A snowHead

Hi, my 13 year old daughter would like to learn to telemark. Would anyone have any advice or instructor recommendations. We live in Derbyshire so Tamworth, Manchester or Castleford are all within easy striking distance.
Cheers
Dom

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I think Ian Acey teaches Telemark at Tamworth. Might be worth calling hem to see if hey offer lessons. Availability of Tele kit to hire might be an issue.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The tele club at Tamworth does have kit available.
For a serious move into telemark, you should look at contacting Joe and Babs at Alpine Learning Curves based in Les Gets.
Not only is Joe one of the highest qualified instructors with BASI ( both Alpine and Telemark) but he lives and breathes tele!

Bet he weighs 10stone dripping wet and you can hear the muscles in his legs 'twang' as he walks . . . note to self: more weighted close lunges @ gym.
