Apparently not anymore, you'll only get it one way. I found this out on my return flight from Tignes when I was told by the BA rep that this concession was no longer available and had been removed from the website that morning. When I pointed out that I'd booked my return flight a number of weeks before that morning, said Rep paused for a moment, shrugged and then amended my checked baggage to include my ski bag.
