Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

val d'isere or chamonix looking to head out end of next week

hey! i am a 27 year old snowboarder looking to head out to either Val d'isere or Chamonix at the end of next week so around the 11th of Jan for either 1 or 2 weeks. I'm going out to try and find a job at a resort, so looking for anyone going there which I could join up with for accom, or a group thats already going, as otherwise this is really expensive! i would go snowboarding some of time too so would be nice to know other people who were as well. I'd be flying out from London but no flights booked yet, would happily join in on a package deal if this is a cheapish option.

A couple of us are heading out to Chamonix on the 12th, with Crystal ski. Got a pretty good deal so worth having a look! Hopefully see you out there.

and yeah i'd be interested in knowing bout any accom option in val d'isere thanks, finding it much harder to get any info on accom there or jobs there than for chamonix
