Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

LES TERRASSES DEOS FLAINE MONTSOLEIL

It certainly means an end to shelling out €20 per child for pasta and a coke.

Shocked I did find eating on the mountain in Flaine extremely expensive on my odd visits. An apartment where you can return for lunch would be a big advantage.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

+1 for the Bissac for lunch - it's a popular place as it's close to the meeting area for adults and kids ski school, the Grand Vans lift, beginners area and a couple of long pistes. Service good and staff pleasant. Also, if it's sunny, a fair number of tables outside.

+1 for the Sherpa, not just for the prices but also for the variety.

Went to the Pedrix Noir once - can't say I noticed many scowlers although royally stung by the high beer prices.

Didn't personally stay at Mont Soleil (we stayed at the cheaper Madam Vaccances apartments which are closer to the piste but of lower but acceptable quality) but friends did and gave it the thumbs up.

Great skiing at Flaine - if you're looking directly at the Flaine bowl in front of you, the pistes on the right hand side were generally quieter - not sure why.
