So I know nothing about it but
Can you buy 1 snowboard
And two sets of bindings, one a size five and one a size nine and simply swap as you require.
It's for two people to use the same board.
Cheers in advance for any assistance.

Yes, though you will want ot be sure the screw pattern on the board is compatible with that on the binding. However, I assume the size nine person is a lot taller than the size five one, which means they will each need a board of a completely different length. Sorry to foil your cunning plan there.

I be surprised if people with such dissimilar feet size would be happy on the same board............

Esdel, even if you were the same height for the size 9 bloke the binding would have to be adjusted towards the heel edge to make the boot central over the board and the size 5 guy adjusted towards the toe edge. Then the straps would probably need adjusting too.

dont forget also that if you choose a large binding for the size 9, you may overhang the edges if the board is really for a size 5.
Wont you be totally different weights anyway and therefore board would be unsuitable?
