Hi just a little help please..me and my wife have booked a ski holiday in borovets and have a learn to ski package and have noticed we have a limited ski lift pass???? What dosnt this include or why is it limited?? Thanks in advance karl

Probably a lessons only pass but at least when we were in Borovets the lessons were full day anyway.

It's probably limited to only part of the ski area. They're assuming that as you are beginners you'll spend most of your time on the nursery slopes or easier runs around the resort.

Hi Karlos1986, my first ski holiday was in Borovets too, we did the 6 day learn to turn package too. Your first week on skis will be unlikely to result in you needing all the red and black slopes, mostly you will be on the greens and blues, the limited lift pass just makes it cheaper for you, no point in paying extra to use the slopes that might put you off skiing for life!
We had a great time, I'm sure you will too, don't worry about it, plenty of time on future holidays to play on tougher slopes and spend more money.

Wonder if it is just the Rila and lift over to the left as you look up the Rila slope and not the Gondola included. If so plenty for a first week in the Mountains including a red or two.

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure I have read in other threads that the limited pass does in fact cover the whole area and is only advertised as limited to stop everyone buying it over the more expensive unlimited.

Vintageryan,when I worked for Crystal a couple of years ago they offered a learn to ski package which, as you say, they did all they could to ensure they were only sold to genuine first time skiers. I was in Les Arcs and the lift pass was a full Les Arcs pass.

One other point about Borovets, the ski instructors range from as good as you will find anywhere to absolutely rubbish! If you think your class is useless it probably is but make a fuss in the ski school and they will sort you out.
