Will reigning World Cup champion Bode Miller ski every single race - again?

Bode Miller has an extraordinary three-year record of skiing every race on the World Cup circuit - that's one reason, he believes, that he is world champion. He has not missed a single race since March 2002, according to this report from Ski Racing.

He has also told Sports Illustrated that he intends to repeat this remarkable commitment in the 2005-6 season, despite the impending Winter Olympics. Here is their report.

Bode Miller's coaches are indicating that they'd like him to ease up just a little, though not right now. Maybe skip the Garmisch downhill at the end of January, for instance.

While huge expectations confront Bode - commencing this weekend at Solden - his younger brother Chelone Miller is in hospital, seriously injured, following a motorbike crash in New Hampshire.
